Open call for food SMEs
A new edition is now open! It will support 20 SMEs in the food industry across 10 Mediterranean countries: Algeria, Egypt, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Spain, Tunisia and Türkiye.
The programme will run from September 2026 to January 2027, including a bootcamp in Morocco from 24 to 26 November 2026.
Eligibility and selection criteria
- Open exclusively to companies in the food sector carrying out manufacturing activities.
- You are an SME with 6–200 employees and a turnover between €100k and €15M.
- You can also be a social enterprise, cooperative, or non-profit, provided you offer products or services in the market.
- You are based in: Algeria, Egypt, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Spain, Tunisia or Türkiye.
- You have at least 3 years of operational history.
- You are committed to sustainability, even if you're just getting started.
- You can dedicate 60 hours between September 2026 and early December 2026.
- The programme is in English; a basic level of communication is sufficient.
- You can attend a 3-day in-person bootcamp in Barcelona (24–26 November 2026) — fully funded!
Slightly outside the criteria? If your company is just outside the employee or revenue range, or you're working on sustainability from an adjacent sector, you're still welcome to apply. Exceptional cases may be considered if strongly aligned with the programme's goals.
