What's the goal?

Powered by MedWaves, the UNEP/MAP Regional Activity Center for SCP, the GoZero Programme empowers Mediterranean SMEs to boost their sustainability and accelerate decarbonisation by embracing circular economy practices.

The second edition is now open! It will support 20 SMEs in the textile industry across 10 Mediterranean countries: : Algeria, Egypt, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Spain, Tunisia and Turkey

The first edition, the Programme supported 40 SMEs — 20 in the textile industry and 20 in the agro-food sector.

Is this for me?

GoZero is the right programme for you if you meet the following eligibility criteria :

  • This call is open exclusively to companies in the textile sectorthat carry out manufacturing activities.
  • You are an SME with 6-200 employees and a turnover between €100k and €15M.
  • You can be a social enterprise, a cooperative, a non-profit cooperative, or another type of entity, provided that you offer products or services in the market.
  • You are based in one of the following Mediterranean countries: Algeria, Egypt, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Spain, Tunisia or Turkey.
  • You have at least 3 years of operational history.
  • You are committed to sustainability, even if you're just getting started.
  • You can dedicate 60 hours to the programme between April 2026 and July 2026.
  • This program is designed in English; however, applicants who are not fluent in English may apply, provided they have a basic level of communication skills in English.
  • You're available to travel and attend a 3-day in-person workshop in Barcelona (16th-18th June) - fully funded!

Slightly outside the criteria?
If your company is just outside the employee or revenue range, or you're working on sustainability from an adjacent sector, you're still welcome to apply. Exceptional cases may be considered if strongly aligned with the programme's goals.

What's it about?

The GoZero Acceleration Programme is designed as a hybrid journey, combining flexibility with deep learning and action. It's structured in 4 phases:

Evaluate the company’s performance in sustainability, circularity and decarbonisation, including calculating Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.

Mapping
Opportunities

2026

Understand decarbonisation opportunities for your company through a 3-day in-person bootcamp covering regulatory trends, circular business models, eco-design principles, and case studies.

How to
get there

Identify and prioritise actionable steps toward decarbonisation goals, considering potential and implementation feasibility.

Implementation
& Follow-Up

2026-2027

Provide focused support in areas such as calculating Scope 3 emissions, applying eco-design principles, or rethinking the business model for circularity and sustainability.

Throughout the journey, you'll receive step-by-step guidance, tools and resources to complete key tasks – with short one-to-one mentoring sessions to keep your progress on track.
